Food wastage is a huge issue. While thousands of people starve in Africa, Southern Asia, and places all over the world, my brother refuses to eat his ramen if it has too many vegetables in it. Inspired by these seemingly hidden privileges of food simply within my household, I wanted to create a conceptual piece that generated commentary on the nature of wasting food, and how it's on a much greater scale than I'd realized.
