doorways explores the complicated and nuanced nature of the feeling of being in between; embracing uncertainty and allowing yourself to be where you are without feeling like you should be anywhere else. Neither inside nor outside, what happens when you pull apart that space between a door and the frame it sits within? With old media I construct a new present, one that pays homage to those who came before me and questions the doors they opened for me to walk through. Forever grateful.
